The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation, and is accessible from U.S. Highway 163. <br />

The 100-foot-tall firewatcher's tower and bell are still intact and has incredible views of Greenwich Village.<br />

By late March or the first week of April, the Callery pears are inn bloom, providing a soft white canopy on many New York streets. <br />

Their tiny five-petaled flowers are loosely clustered, allowing plenty of light to play among the dark branches, so that to walk down a street lined with these tall trunks is to feel embraced by soft clouds.
