Late March or the first week of April,a soft white canopy are in bloom on many New York streets.

Those white flowers floating over many city streets are Callery pears, or Pyrus calleryana.

Their tiny five-petaled flowers are loosely clustered, allowing plenty of light to play among the dark branches, walking down a street lined with these tall trunks is to feel embraced by soft clouds.
