Vincent has had a fascinating life that involves Anais Nin, The San Remo, Charlie Parker, Sailing on ships for 40 years, Orson Wells, the princess of Afghanistan, dancing Afro-Cuban in Havana before the Revolution and learning the pre-mambo original late dancing at the Park Plaza in the 20's.

In the early 1940s Livelli was in Havana, making ends meet guiding tourists to hot clubs: the Kursal, the cabaret Eden.
He hosted and entertained countless celebrities, including: the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Anaïs Nin, Orson Welles, Marjorie Merriweather Post, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sullivan, and Carmen Miranda.
