Thomas Hunter Hall Castle

Opened in 1913 at Hunter College (then known as Normal College), this Lexington Avenue castle was built to house an elementary school and a high school, and was designed by Charles B.J. Snyder.

The original Gothic Revival building. Only the back of the portion facing Lexington Avenue between 68th and 69th streets remains of the original building.
