Close up of tattoos on the arm of Stefan Liden, performer acrobat.
"My circus piece represents 3 generations of my family being part of the circus. the ring leader, clowns, fire breather, tarot cards, and band are all part of the circus gypsy world. all tattoo is portrait work from tattoo artist Robert Pho. it took a total of 27 hours and cost 5 thousand dollars.
My right arm is the tale of Quazi Moto and the hunch back of Notre Dame. It symbolize the broken beaten and the damned. the city fights against the monster because of difference everywhere we go things that are strange are somehow the enemy we are all the hunchback of Notre Dame to someone somewhere. 4 thousand dollars 20 hours.
My back is the French version of the Quija board. I am not a Satanist or a dark Goth person. most people see Quija board and think I am into voodoo or summoning evil spirits. far from the truth. the Quija board is a simple instrument to speak to the other side, good or evil, in reality you have no power over who you speak to when it comes to spirits. I am in constant contact to the spiritual world through my back. 10 hours 1500 dollars.
My tattoos cost more then some peoples cars. I figure I might as well spend my money on something that doesn't need to be taken into a mechanic. These tattoos are my skin and I think I was born with this artwork. We will see what more tattoos comes in life."
