Portrait Rense Çibanakán is Kacike (Chief) of the Taino Nation of the Antilles. Kacike Çibanakán, along with Kacike Boriwex, represent the Taino diaspora. Taino are Native American Indians from the Island of (Boriken) Puerto Rico.
Chief Çibanakán dressed in pow wow regalia wearing Guanin medallion symbolizes chiefs authority and Our Lady of Guadeloupe ( Virgin Mary ) medallion at the Museum of American Indian in NYC for a traditional dance social with the Thunderbird Indian Dancers and Singers.
