Saint Barbara tattoo on left arm. Dominic what does this tattoo represend for you and this is his story: " I grew up in a Italian-Catholic family, but we weren't super strict. It was left upon ourselves to discover how we truly felt about religion and that is something I credit my parents for. I used to be very religious, but as I grew older, I began to lose my religion, not faith. This tattoo shows that I still connect to my catholic roots. Saint Barbabra is the patron saint of land-mines, or more specifically, not stepping on one. I got the idea from the rock band the Hold Steady, who wrote a song about faith and self preservation called "Don't Let Me Explode." The writing on it is exactly how it appears on their album."...Tattoos once were considered to be form of anti-conformist but not anymore. ..In some cultures this is viewed as body art. In the United States this can be seen in national advertisements and on television and the movies. Body art or tattoos has entered the mainstream it is known longer considered a weird kind of subculture...release # 2524.
