He is passing on information from previous shift, duty roster, post assignments, any special information and operational issues in the Booking and Release Center (BRC)...Intake / Release: 22 law enforcement agencies bring arrestees to the BRC arriving at a 16-car sally port. Correction Officers assume custody of inmates and begin to process them into the jail system. Each arrestee's property is inventoried and stored. Medical screening, fingerprinting, photographing, an pre-trail screening also occur.
