Superstructure 2nd floor Frame - GOR-147987-cEcR18

Work begins on the superstructure 2nd floor Frame.

Demolition, excavation and the retaining walls finished up to the ground floor of 192 7th Avenue, NYC.

A new subcontracted construction crew will work on the superstructure. The different steps will be: 1) build load bearing framework on the first floor 2) 4x8 plywood on top of framework 3) floor opening for plumbing connections and extensions 4) concrete then poured 5) external enclosing walls and 6) the vertical extension process repeated 4 more times.

A superstructure is the upward extension of an existing structure above a baseline.

This term is applied to various kinds of physical structures such as buildings, bridge or ships.
