'Maiden and Youth' ('Youth' depicted here) was completed in 1936 by the artist Paul Manship (American, 1885-1966) and is located at the end of the Channel Gardens flanking the staircase to the lower Rockefeller Plaza. The 8-foot statues are made of cast bronze
