New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on April 15, 2020 said he is ordering all people to wear a face covering while in public as the state works to combat the nation's worst coronavirus outbreak.

You now have to wear face covering ( masks, bandanas, surgical masks ) in public or indoors when shopping as a way to reduce the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

**** The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendation of the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that children older than age 2 should wear cloth face masks when going out. This is to protect the children and the community.

The AAP and the CDC don’t recommend kids younger than age 2 to wear a mask. It’s also unlikely to find a mask that fits a small child perfectly.
