Victorian Floral Design - GOR-80202-11

Heather Bondra, is a dancer in the Manhattan Tribal, American Tribal Style Belly Dance Company in New York City.

"My tattoo is a Victorian floral design and a work-in-progress. (I am trying to think of something insightful to say about it but it sounds silly to me.) It really came down to the artist I chose, Denise de la Cerda. I really love her work and wanted it on my body. This piece is entirely freehand. I just showed her some of the motifs that were visually striking to me and let her use my skin as her canvas. I don't know exactly what this tattoo will look like when it is finished but that is part of the fun of this one!"

Body art or tattoos has entered the mainstream it is known longer considered a weird kind of subculture.

"According to a 2006 Pew survey, 40% of Americans between the ages of 26 and 40 have been tattooed"..
