Taiwan Kang Mu-Xiang also known as Master, his sculpture is fashioned from discarded materials, mostly driftwood and metal that are reshaped and remodeled to create meaningful objects.

The best-known Life series was born, a series composed of numerous depictions of life-related topics such as fetuses, newborn babies or the relationship between a mother and a child. Now, he continues to create depictions of rebirth (that personify the idea of recycling), from metal cables .

The seven sculptures on the Broadway Mall between 41st and 36th Streets are named ~ Twin Life, The Worried Whale, Ru-yi Life, Regeneration, Infinite Life, Ignore Me and Serenity.

These seven large-scale monumental embryonic sculptures were created using recycled elevator cables from one of the world’s tallest green building ~ Taipei 101 in Taiwan. The recycled cables symbolize coexistence between mankind and the earth.
